Getting to Know #31 Reuben Santana

We're 31 days away from the start of our inaugural season and we continue to count down the days with No. 31 Reuben Santana from Corona, Calif., and Santiago High School.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My senior night and having all my family there watching.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
My favorite sport to play is football. But my favorite sport to watch is basketball.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Play video games with friend . specifically Fortnite and 2k.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I chose Utah to help build up one of the best programs in college lacrosse.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The weather. Being able to experience the four seasons is something I never got to do in California.
What are your goals for this year?
My goals are to epitomize a student-athlete on and off the field.
What are your pregame superstitions?
It's all about the socks. If I have a bad game I will never wear those socks at a game again.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I am currently undeclared, but I want to become a firefighter after college.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
I hope to visit my Dad's hometown in Mexico to learn where he came from and how he grew up.
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
I would invite Kobe, Shaq, and Phil Jackson to talk about those legendary years on the Lakers.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Attack the day. No matter what's in front of you, attack it with everything you have.
