BOSTON – Utah assistant lacrosse coaches
Marcus Holman and
Will Manny will play in the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game, held in Boston on Thursday, June 28, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Holman will play for Team USA in his fifth MLL All-Star Game. He also played with Team USA in 2014's All-Star Game and was on the MLL All-Star team from 2015-17. Holman, who plays in MLL for the Ohio Machine, is currently tied for fifth in the league in goals (27) and points (41) and is tied for seventh in assists (13). He leads the Machine in all three categories.
Manny will play for the MLL All-Stars and makes his fourth all-star appearance (2015-18). For the New York Lizards he is fourth in the league with 28 goals, eighth in points (39) and tied for 10
th in assists (11). Manny is second on the team in both goals and points.
All three Utah assistant coaches are currently playing in MLL, including Atlanta Blaze goalkeeper
Adam Ghitelman, who ranks third in the league with a 13.07 goals against average.
Postgame Update:
Manny was named All-Star Game MVP after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime for Team MLL. He scored three goals with an assist on the night for four points.
Holman scored a second-quarter goal for Team USA.
