Of the nine Utes to earn honorable mention status this season,
Daniel Theriault was the only three-time selection.
Rahiti De Vos,
Brody Lewis and
Matteo Sogne, honored by the CSCAA last season, were joined by debutants
Nathan Makarewicz,
Colten Montgomery,
Jenner Pennock,
Chris Taber and
Jeremy Young.
A First Team CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honor recognizes student-athletes that achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at their respective Swimming and Diving Championships. The Utah men had a 3.11 grade point average this spring and last week, the CSCAA named the Utes as a Scholar All-America Team. Utah also had six student-athletes named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team earlier this year, most in the conference. Scott, Theriault, Lewis, Sogne and Young were among the honorees with Burton, Phillips, Taber and De Vos making the second team.
