SAN FRANCISCO – The Utah track and field team had seventeen student-athletes named to the Pac-12 All-Academic track and field teams, announced today by the conference office.

Sophomore
Nicole Griffiths and senior Megan Perkins Killian were both second-team selections to lead the Utes. Griffiths is a kinesiology major with a 3.84 grade point average while Killian has a 3.81 grade point average and is majoring in psychology. It is the first all-academic track honor for both women. Griffiths also earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors in cross country.

Brooke Martin,
Hannah McInturff,

Melissa Taggart,
Sadie Wassum and
Mesa Weidle. Englund, Grossman, Wheelock, Lanford, McInturff and Weidle are all honorable mention selections for the third time while Faust, Hansen and Sams are all on the team for the second time in their careers.

To be eligible for selection to the all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
