NETANYA, Israel – Utah assistant lacrosse coach
Marcus Holman will compete with Team USA at the 2018 FIL World Championship, held July 12-21 in Netanya, Israel.

The U.S. opens the tournament on July 12 against the Iroquois Nationals and continues with games against Australia (July 14), Canada (July 15), Scotland (July 16) and England (July 17) with the quarterfinals beginning on July 18. The championship game is July 21. Games will be televised on various ESPN networks.

Holman is in his first collegiate coaching job and worked with Utah's club team for two seasons. He is in his sixth season playing in MLL for the Ohio Machine and has played in the MLL All-Star Game five times, including twice with Team USA (2014, 2018) and three times on the MLL All-Star team (2015-17). Holman helped lead the Machine to the 2017 MLL Championship and was named Most Valuable Player. He was a three-time All-American at North Carolina.
