FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Former Utah track and field All-American
Grayson Murphy will continue her career professionally with Northern Arizona Elite out of Flagstaff, Ariz.

Northern Arizona Elite is a non-profit organization that develops and prepares distance runners to compete at the highest levels of international athletics.

Murphy was a five-time All-American at Utah between cross country and track over two seasons with the Utes. This past season she finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships, 10
th in the 5,000 at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Championships and was eighth at the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Murphy also competed at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships, placing seventh in the steeplechase as the top collegiate runner. She holds four Utah school records.

Murphy transferred to Utah after spending two seasons racing at Santa Clara (2014-16) and began her collegiate career as a soccer player at Sweet Briar College (Virginia) in 2013.
