SALT LAKE CITY - Former Utah track and field student-athletes Jocelyn Todd and Grayson Murphy finished first and second, respectively, at the Deseret News 10k race, held on Pioneer Day in Salt Lake City (July 24).Â
Todd, who competed one season at Utah (2015-16), won the race in 32:31.2. Todd is working towards a doctorate in biomedical engineering at Utah. She previously won the 2017 Deseret News Half Marathon.Â
Murphy recently finished her career at Utah as a five-time All-American and ran a personal-best time of 33:12.4 in the event. Her collegiate best in the event, set earlier this year, was 33:17.85. Murphy graduated from Utah with a degree in civil engineering.Â
