PROVO, Utah – Due to poor air quality caused by the Bald Mountain and Pole Creek mountain fires, BYU cross country's Autumn Classic has been relocated to Logan, but the Utes will not be competing in the event.
Utah, who opened the 2018 season competing in Logan, will be back on the Utah State campus again in three weeks (Oct. 5) to compete in the Steve T. Reeder Invitational, so the Utes have decided to take this weekend off.
The Utes will now shift their attention to their next meet on the schedule, the Battle in Beantown, which will take place next Friday, Sept. 21, in Boston.
