Lacrosse Completes Second Week of Spring Practice

The Utah lacrosse team completed week two of spring practice and while head coach Brian Holman was pleased with the results, he knows the Utes still have plenty of room for improvement.
"Another week down, and it was a good week," Holman said. "We were a little up and down this week. We weren't as consistent as last week. Maybe that's to be expected because it was the second week, but no excuses. We need to develop more consistency in our approach. That being said, I thought the last two practices were two of our best of the whole year. With a young team you're going to experience some of that. We're trying to level them off to get them to understand that it's going to be an everyday event. It's a work in progress. All in all, it was a good week. We did get better. We got more pennies, so that's a plus. We'll finish up Saturday with a little film work and our 3X hour in the gym. Next we will work on teaching these guys how to get ready for an opponent, so that is our challenge next week."

The Utes had the second-highest grade point average this fall of any of the men's teams at the University. Over 85-percent of our players had at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Our future home is in its early stages but will be ready by the fall.
