COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -Â The College Swimming Coaches Association of America honored both Utah Swimming and Diving squads as Scholar All-America Teams.
The Utah women had a 3.19 grade point average during the fall to earn its 12th-straight CSCAA team academic award.
The men's team had a 3.23 GPA during the fall, its best total for a semester since Spring '15. It has earned a CSCAA award 11 of the last 12 semesters.
The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester and again in the spring, to recognize teams achieving a 3.0 in the semester. Seven-hundred and thirteen swimming and diving teams, representing 460 colleges and universities, were named CSCAA Scholar All-America teams.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
