We're 27 days away from the start of our inaugural season and we continue to count down the days with No. 27 Ben Adams, who is from Salt Lake City and attended Skyline High School.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
Beating BYU at home on Ute Field last year.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
My favorite sport outside of lacrosse is snow skiing.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I am not in class or playing lacrosse I like to ski, water ski, wakeboard, and play the piano.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I chose to come to Utah because of the opportunity to play high level lacrosse while living in one of the most beautiful places in the country. Utah is also a top tier research university which really appealed to me.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
There are multiple world class ski resorts within a half hour drive, and beautiful national parks within a day's trip from the city.
What are your goals for this year?
I want to make the dean's list, and to compete at a high level and show the country what Utah lacrosse is about.
What are your pregame superstitions?
It's important to me to take lots of time to get loose and stretch well before the game.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I am majoring in Biochemistry. I want to go to medical school and work as an orthopedic surgeon after I graduate.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
I would love to visit Bora Bora.
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
George Washington, Albert Einstein, and my Grandpa Johnson
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
