We're 23 days away from the start of our inaugural season and we continue to count down the days with No. 23 Reid Lanigan, who is from Memphis, Tenn., and attended Christian Brothers High School.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory was during my sophomore year of high school when we beat our rival in a one-goal game in the pouring rain
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
My favorite sport to watch is football, but my favorite sport to play other than lacrosse is basketball.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy being outdoors hiking, skiing, or just hanging with my pals.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I chose Utah because I wanted to be a part of a group of people who will build the foundation for a new college lacrosse program. The best thing about Utah is how passionate the players and coaches are about this program, and how much fun we all have building it.

What are your goals for this year?
I want to hit the ground running, and I want to compete and win games just like any program that has been around for years.
What are your pregame superstitions?
Since last year, I have eaten a Snickers and drank a Red Bull before every game.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
My major is Business, Finance-Anticipated, and I hope to be a financial advisor when I graduate.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
I really want to visit Australia because the people seem awesome and the scenery is gorgeous
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
I would invite Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Skip Bayless because I'm pretty sure they would get in a fist fight.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The best piece of advice I've ever received would be not to let anyone else decide how good I can be at something.
