Getting to Know #25 Gabe Mein

We're 25 days away from the start of our inaugural season and we continue to count down the days with No. 25 Gabe Mein, who is from Littleton, Colo., and attended Columbine High School.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory is playing box lacrosse in Toronto in the Jr. NLL.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
I love extreme sports like snowboarding and biking.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to be outdoors in my free time (snowboarding, hiking, biking, etc.) and outside of that love to sleep.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
My favorite part is the mountains and I chose Utah because it is so close to home.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The mountains being so close!
What are your goals for this year?
My goals are to be a better person and to get better at lacrosse to help my team.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I've gone to sleep upside down in my bed the night before games in the past.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
Geography BS and Urban Ecology BS, I plan to do urban ecology with these two degrees.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
Australia/New Zealand.
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
I'd invite Jesus and my friend Jacob Blanc.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
"Shoot until your hot, and shoot until your not." - Steve Govett
