Head coach
Brian Holman is hoping to see the things the Utes have practiced all fall come together for a good day of scrimmages in the coming weeks.
"I'm looking for that culmination of what we've been teaching - teamwork, organization, stick work, having a high level of communication," Holman said. "I want to see the older players be more accountable. How do the freshman respond to a competitive environment? I want to see us compete, which has been an emphasis from the first day. It's going to be a unique challenge competing against three different teams with three different styles, and seeing how everyone handles that. After that we'll move into phase two of fall, when we get into a lot more technical stuff, doing more individual work and mixing in things like basketball. We'll have a good base as we push towards spring."
We're continuing to finalize the 2020 schedule, we'll post that as soon as we can!
