LOS ANGELES - Utah wrapped up competition at the Trojan Diving Invitational this morning, with the women's platform and men's 1m championships taking place.
Luke McDivitt placed fourth in the 1m with a final of 264.75. Directly behind him in the standings, was teammate
Tony Chen with a score of 261.20. The men's field this afternoon featured a total of 18 divers.
On the women's platform,
Regan Caufield was the top performer for Utah. She took seventh and her score in the finals of 219.2 ranks eighth in Utah history.
Lexi Mills finished in 13
th at 163.05.
"Regan salvaged the day with a good performance on tower," head diving coach
Richard Marschner said. "It was the first time she has ever competed in that event and she dived with confidence and poise. She will improve with the more experience she gets."
After three days of consecutive competition, Utah now heads home with more experience under their belt as they prepare for the rest of the season.
