MAKING HIS MARK
After transferring to Utah as a sophomore, Dunkle has made his mark on the Utah golf program in just three years as a Ute. Dunkle holds the school record in individual tournament titles and is tied for the lowest 54-hole individual score and lowest 18-hole round under par in Utah golf history.
Dunkle ranks second place all-time with nine career top-10 finishes, and currently ranks fifth all-time with four top-10 finishes in a season with the season still underway. Dunkle finished tied for seventh place at the Redhawk Invitational in the beginning of April, which marked his fourth top-10 finish of the year and ninth of his Ute career. Dunkle moved into second place all-time at Utah with nine career top-10 finishes, which is tied with former Ute Jon Morgan, who also posted nine during the 1995-99 seasons.
Dustin Pimm holds the record with 17 career top-10 finishes.
GOING UNDER
Utah posted a final round 13-under par (271) in the final round of the Redhawk Invitational, which was the best round on the final day of any team in the 18-team field.
