LOUISVILLE – Utah junior attackman
James Sexton was named to the USILA Team of the Week for April 30 for his performance last week against Detroit Mercy.
Sexton's 13 points is the most by any player in the nation this season while his eight assists on the day is tied for second in the NCAA this year. Sexton had a hand in 13 of Utah's 16 goals on the day, which included a season-high five goals.
It is the first career weekly honor for a Utah player.
Sexton led Utah with 49 points and 25 assists and finished tied for second on the team with 24 goals in its inaugural season.
Utah finished the year with a 5-10 record.
