SAN FRANCISCO -Â Utah men's swimming and diving had 10Â student-athletes earn Pac-12 All-Academic honors this morning.
Daniel Theriault earned First Team honors for a third-straight year while
Matteo Sogne picked them up for a second time.
David Fridlander and
Robert King also earned spots on the conference's top tier.
Austin Phillips and
Chris Taber were named to the second team for a third-straight year while
Brody Lewis and
Rahiti De Vos garnered their second academic awards.
Fernando Cervantes picked up his first honor, running Utah's total on the second team to five
Felix Chiun was the only Ute to be honorably mentioned by the conference.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular season events or suffer a season-ending injury and spent more than one year at her current institution.
The men's team had a 3.23 GPA during the fall, its best total for a semester since Spring '15. It has earned a CSCAA award 11 of the last 12 semesters.
