Kyler Dunkle competes at the NCAA Championships this week, hosted by Arkansas at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville from May 24-27, 2019.
The first round of competition begins on Friday, May 24, followed by the second and third rounds on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26. The field is narrowed down and the individual winner determined on the final round of stroke play on Monday, May 27. Live scoring will be provided at

Dunkle is the first individual Utah golfer to play at the NCAA Championship since
Dustin Pimm in 2006. He qualified for the NCAA Championships after tying for sixth place at the NCAA Stanford Regional, shooting 6-under-par over three days of competition.
Dunkle was a second-team All-Pac-12 selection. He finished second at the Pac-12 Championships for Utah's best individual finish ever at the event. The team tied for fifth, its best finish since joining the league. Dunkle's second round of 64 tied for the lowest round among all players.
Dunkle won two tournaments this year, the Showdown in the Rockies and the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational and finished in the top 10 in six tournaments. He has a 70.9 scoring average, which is currently a school record.
Dunkle has a Utah record three career victories (which includes a win at the 2017 Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational) with a career scoring average of 71.7 over three seasons at Utah after transferring from Colorado State. He has six top five finishes and his 11 career top 10 finishes is second all-time at Utah. Dunkle qualified for PGA Tour Canada earlier this year. He won the 2018 Colorado State Amateur, was the low amateur at the 2018 Utah Open and played in the 2018 U.S. Amateur.
