Cambere Named to College Crosse All-Freshman Team

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah freshman defender Samuel Cambere has been named to the College Crosse All-Freshman second team.
Cambere started all 15 games for the Utes and led Utah with 20 caused turnovers and finished second on the team with 52 ground balls. He scored three goals with three assists on the year. Cambere assisted on Utah's first-ever goal against Vermont and had two points with a goal and an assist vs. Bellarmine. He had a season-high five caused turnovers against Mercer and ended the year with a season-best eight ground balls vs. Detroit Mercy. Cambere also occasionally took face offs, going 5-of-21 on the year.
Utah finished its season with a 5-10 record.
