Manny, Holman Named to PLL All-Star Team

Utah assistant lacrosse coaches Marcus Holman and Will Manny have been named to the Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game, held Sunday, July 21, in Los Angeles. The duo were drafted to Team Baptiste for the game, named after team captain Trevor Baptiste (who was one of the top two vote getters in the all-star voting).
Holman and Manny, who play for Archers LC along with assistant Adam Ghitelman, are among the league leaders in goals scored. Holman's 15 goals ranks second in the league, his 22 points is third and seven assists ranks tied for fifth. Manny has 14 goals to rank third in the PLL and also has three assists and 18 points. Ghitelman has 52 saves on the year, allowing 11.9 goals per game with a 50-percent save percentage.

Archers LC is 2-4 on the season and is fourth in the league. Every one of the team's six games have been decided by one goal and three games have gone into overtime.

Following the All-Star weekend the series travels to Denver from July 27-28.
