The Utah lacrosse team begins its second week of practice this week in preparation for the 2020 season beginning on Feb. 1.
"We had a really good first week," head coach
Brian Holman said. "We told the guys this morning how proud we were of them. We got better, and that's everybody's goal, is to get a little better every day, and there wasn't a day last week we didn't get better on the lacrosse field. We asked them their thoughts on the things we were doing really well and places that we needed to do better job this week, and it was great that they were pretty much right on with our thoughts as a staff. I give them a lot of credit, it was clear that they did what we asked them to do over the break. Between having really good leadership and having really good intent from the guys, we had a really good week of practice. I think our leadership is one thing that's going to be a boost for us this year. Our leadership on this team hasn't missed a beat since August."
Utah has a scrimmage against Providence on Saturday, Jan. 18, scheduled to be held on the turf Crimson Field (below the grass Ute Field). The scrimmage is free.
