As we prepare for the lacrosse season, we'll get to know the newcomers on Utah's team. Today is Carson Moyer who is from King City, Ontario, Canada, and attended The Hill Academy.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory was beating Calvert Hall in overtime to go undefeated in our spring trip my senior season in high school.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
Hockey or snowboarding
What do you like to do in your free time?
Watch the Toronto Maple Leafs play and watch Netflix.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I wanted to go to the University of Utah to be a part of and help build this new program to winning a national championship. The best thing about Utah is how the lacrosse community is constantly growing and showing support for the Utes.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The mountains that surround the city.
What are your goals for this year?
To get 25 points as a freshman.
What are your pregame superstitions?
Listen to Warriors by Imagine Dragons before heading out to the field.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I major in Entrepreneurship and I hope to be drafted into the NLL and work for my Dad.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
I hope to go back to Australia after I graduate.
