Getting to Know MJ McMahon

As we prepare for the lacrosse season, we'll get to know the newcomers on Utah's team. Today is MJ McMahon, an attackman from Sarasota, Fla.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
As a small school in Florida, it was very hard to gain respect and attention. My junior year, we beat the defending state champions and the number one team, which was an awesome feeling for the whole school.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
Basketball
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hang out with friends and play and watch different types of sports.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I love all the outdoor activities available and how close Utah is to Salt Lake and Park City.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The mountain views.
What are your goals for this year?
To grow as a person through lacrosse and experience memories.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I have to tape my stick, wear the same compression shorts, and the same socks if possible. I also like to listen to music.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I plan on majoring in business and eventually want to go into law.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
Ireland and the Maldives.
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
Michael Jordan (MJ), Chris Kyle, and Sebastian Maniscalco

Never stop learning.
