As we prepare for the lacrosse season, we'll get to know the newcomers on Utah's team. Today is Josh Rose from Atlanta Ga., whose brother Jon is a junior with the Utes.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory is making it to the state championship my junior year of high school.
What is you favorite sport besides lacrosse?
Football
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like water sports, hanging out with my friends, fishing, and watching movies.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I chose Utah because of the culture the team has, it's not only about playing lacrosse, it's about being a good human being. My brother is also on the team, so that is also a reason why I chose Utah.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
I love the mountains and the beautiful sunsets.
What are your goals for this year?
My goals are to be a great teammate and be a contender for the national championship.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I do the same thing and listen to the same songs before every game.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
My major is business and I would like to create my own company one day.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
Dubai, Paris, and Alaska
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
Jesus, my Aunt Jenny, and George Washington
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
You're never as good as you think you are and you're never as bad as you think you are.
