Hosting Their Own Tournament April 10-11
SALT LAKE CITY – Entering its third season, the Utah beach volleyball team has announced its 2020 schedule.

The team has ramped up its schedule and will once again be hosting a tournament for the second straight season. Their tournament will be April 10-11 and will have SLCC, Colorado Mesa, Cal Poly and College of Southern Idaho coming to Salt Lake City.

In its tournament, Utah will take on SLCC on April 10 at 9 a.m. and then face Colorado Mesa later that day at 5 p.m. On the final day of the tournament, the Utes will play Cal Poly at 1 p.m. and College of Southern Idaho at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

The Utes open up their season on Saturday, February 29 taking on Cal in the morning and UC Davis in the afternoon. Other good teams Utah has on its schedule are Stanford, Hawaii, Oregon, Arizona State, Washington, USC and Arizona throughout the season.

In all, the Utes have 21 matches scheduled leading into the Pac-12 Championship on Thursday, April 23. The 21 matches will be the most the team has played in since starting the program in 2018.
