SALT LAKE CITY - Utah sophomore Tony Chen was named the Pac-12's Diver of the Week for the first time after his strong performances at the UCLA Invitational

Chen had a strong start, capturing the 3-meter springboard title with a score of 742.50 on the first day of competition. The California native capped off the meet with a score of 608.70 and fourth-place finish in the 1-meter springboard.

Chen ranks third all-time among Utah divers in the 3-meter and ninth in the 1-meter. Utah is back in action next weekend at BYU
