Lacrosse Has Strong Fall in Classroom

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah lacrosse team saw 75-percent of the team earn a 3.0 grade point average for the 2019 fall semester. Lacrosse averaged a team 3.318 grade point average as a team during the semester, higher than the department average of 3.23.
Earning a 4.0 grade point average for the semester was freshman Jarrod King.
Utah had 14 players make the Dean's List (3.5 GPA and above), over 34-percent of the team. In addition to King, Kyle Beasley, Tyler Bradbury, Cole Brams, Aaron Fjeldsted, Steele Headden, Kellen Hoke, Zack Johns, Ramsey McCreary, MJ McMahon, Ryan Rogers, Donny Stock, Josh Stout and Stewart Vassau were all on the Dean's List.
In addition to the above, making the Athletics Academic Honor Roll (3.00 GPA and above) was Jack Barron, Colin Burke, Sammy Cambere, Bryce Cheek, Nick Hapney, Jacob Kiefer, Rylan Lemons, Dominic Mata, Carter McDaniels, Carson Moyer, Seth Neeleman, Jimmy Perkins, Jonathan Rose, Josh Rose, Ruben Santana, James Sexton and Dan Tracy. In all, 31 student-athletes were named to the Athletics Honor Roll.
