As we prepare for the lacrosse season, we'll get to know the newcomers on Utah's team. Today is Zion DeChesere from Henderson, Nev.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
Winning a summer tournament with my high school team.
What is your favorite sport besides lacrosse?
Tennis
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hang out with my teammates.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
I chose Utah because it gave me the ability to play high caliber lacrosse while getting an excellent education. The best thing about Utah is the beautiful scenery.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
Downtown
What are your goals for this year?
A 10-win season.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I don't really have any superstitions but I always wear a long sleeve shirt for games.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
My major is kinesiology and I plan to become a physician's assistant when I graduate.
Where do you most hope to travel/visit?
Sydney, Australia
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would they be?
My grandmother, Lamar Jackson and Stan Lee.
