COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -Â The College Swimming Coaches Association of America honored both Utah Swimming and Diving squads as Scholar All-America Teams this morning.
The Utah women had a 3.30 grade point average during the fall to earn their 14th straight CSCAA team academic award. The men's team had a 3.10 GPA during the fall and picked up its 13th CSCAA academic award over the last 14 semesters.
Presented twice annually, the Scholar All-America awards recognize teams achieving a 3.0 in the semester. A record 480 colleges and universities were named CSCAA Scholar All-America teams.
Rahiti De Vos and Matteo Sogne are three-time CSCAA Scholar All-Americans, with selections being announced every spring. Colten Montgomery and Emma Ruchala are two-time honorees while Nick Becker, Andrew Britton, Tony Chen, David Fridlander, Emma Lawless, Christina Pick and Ben Waterman were all recognized for the first time in 2019.
