Fridlander, a sophomore from Israel, shined in a win over No. 21 USC taking home four titles and helping set a pair of pool records. He was a part of two record-setting relays as Utah matched a Don Reddish Pool standard with a time of 1:26.81 in the 200-medley and then set a new mark of 1:20.08 in the 200-yard freestyle. Fridlander also won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48.38 and the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:48.97.
