COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah Diving completed competition at the Air Force Invitational with
Luke McDivitt winning the men's platform
"The entire meet was incredibly successful for us and it was one of the best as a team since I have been at Utah," diving coach
Richard Marschner said. "Luke narrowly missed the school record today and I think he has a great chance to set it at Pac-12's or Zones. This meet should give us a lot of confidence heading into championship season and if we can repeat what we did here at Pac-12's and beyond we will be in great shape."
McDivitt tallied the top score during the prelims with
Chase Hindmarsh in second and McDivtt would wind up winning the event with a total of 357.95 as Hindmarsh slipped a little, back to fourth.
The top women's performer during the prelims was
Lizzy DeCecco in seventh. She made a big jump in the finals with a score of 230.15 to take third overall.
Utah Swim is in action in two weeks with the men hosting USC at Don Reddish Natatorium. Utah Dive is done with its regular season and now prepares for the Pac-12 Championships, Feb. 26-29.
