FEDERAL WAY, Washington – Utah Women's Swim saw an eight-year old record fall on the first night of the Pac-12 Championships during
Audrey Reimer's 400 medley relay leadoff leg.
The sophomore swam her 100 back in 52.69, breaking a mark set by Traycie Swartz at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships. The rest of the contingent,
Charity Pittard,
Emma Lawless and
Leyre Casarin, wound up swimming the second-fastest time in Utah history (3:37.00)
In the other relay of the evening, the 800 free,
Kyla Yetter's leadoff leg was a new PR and the ninth-fastest swim in Utah history. She, along with
Christina Pick,
Rebecca Zeiger and
Kayla Miller finished with a time of 7:22.38
Over on the boards, the only event of the night was the men's 1m.
Tony Chen notched the fourth-best score in Utah history (367.10) as he moved up from seventh place in the prelims to fifth in the evening's finals.
Luke McDivitt also made the finals, placing eighth overall.
