SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Diving starts competition tomorrow at the NCAA Zone E Championships. The three-day event will be held at the same site as the Pac-12 Championships, the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington. Despite it being at this location, Utah is the designated host.

The Utes will send seven student-athletes,
Regan Caufield,
Tony Chen,
Lizzy DeCecco,
Chase Hindmarsh,
Luke McDivitt,
Lexi Mills and
Emma Ruchala, to compete against contingents from 29 other Division 1 programs.

PAC-12 RECAP
Chen notched the fourth-best score in Utah history (367.10) as took fifth in the 1m.
McDivitt also made the finals, placing eighth overall. Chen also placed third after the men's 3m prelims but despite improving his score in the finals, slipped back to sixth. In the platform, McDivitt also reached the finals and finished eighth.

DeCecco was the top performer on the 3m for the women with a score of 270.00 and took 11
th in the 1m with a score of 250.25. Caufield placed 10
th in the platform to pace Utah

2019 NCAA ZONES RECAP
Chen qualified for the NCAA Championships by finishing fourth in the 1-meter event. He had the eighth-highest mark ever for a Ute in the event with a score of 328.80. Chen also qualified in the 3m, finishing eighth with a score of 658.05
On the women's side,
Greenlow and Ruchala both competed in the 3m and 1m events
