COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America honored both Utah Swimming and Diving squads as Scholar All-America Teams this morning.Â
The Utah women had a 3.68 grade point average during the spring to earn their 14th straight CSCAA team academic award. The men's team had a 3.66 GPA during the spring and picked up its 13th CSCAA academic award over the last 14 semesters. Both teams set new program standards for cumulative GPA during a semester.
Â
Presented twice annually, the Scholar All-America awards recognize teams achieving a 3.0 in the semester. Four-hundred sixty-one colleges and universities were named CSCAA Scholar All-America teams.
Â
The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-Americans next week. Utah Swimming and Diving had 24 student-athletes named to their respective Pac-12 All-Academic Teams this past spring (13 make and 11 female).
