NORFOLK, Va. -Â Utah Swim & Dive had 19 student-athletes honored as Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

Rahiti De Vos earned Scholar All-American status for a fourth-straight year as
Brody Lewis,
Christina Pick and
Emma Ruchala were recognized for a third time.
Andrew Britton,
Tony Chen,
David Fridlander,
Emma Lawless,
Sara McClendon and
Ben Waterman became two-time honorees while newcomers included
Regan Caufield,
Jackson Cunningham,
Lizzy DeCecco,
Chase Hindmarsh,
Robert King,
Luke McDivitt,
Lexi Mills,
Finn O'Haimhirgin and
Charity Pittard.

Chen, De Vos and McDivitt were all named to the First Team after earning CSCAA All-American status. In order to be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 and competed at their respective national championships. Every other student-athlete must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at their respective diving qualifying meets.

Utah swimmers Pick and
Matteo Sogne captured both department academic honors – the Bud Jack Scholar Student-Athlete Award and the Dr. Burtis Evans Award – at this year's Crimson Carpet Awards. In addition to that, both teams were recognized by the CSCAA last week after record-setting spring semesters in the classroom (Women – 3.68 Team GPA; Men - 3.66 Team GPA).

Twenty-four Utah swimmers and divers were named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll back in March.
