Available for just $25, the hat pays tribute to the USS Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah fans will have their first opportunity to purchase a baseball season ticket hat during the Saturday, Nov. 20 Military Appreciation football game vs. Oregon at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Designed to honor the USS Salt Lake City ship and crew, hats will be available in a variety of sizes as well as snapback form, and will be on sale for just $25.
Fans can purchase their hats throughout game day, including before kickoff in the Guardsman tailgate lot as well as in-game on the Rice-Eccles Stadium South Concourse, outside the entrance to the Ken Garff Red Zone Premium Clubs. Specific times and locations for purchase are listed below.
A season ticket hat guarantees admission to the entirety of Utah baseball's 2022 home slate, as the Utes return to Smith's Ballpark. The hat features a camouflage design with a battle star on the rear, honoring the World War II-era heavy cruiser that earned 11 battle stars while commissioned from 1929-46.
