Two More Matches Tomorrow Against Stephen F. Austin and Houston Baptist

Corpus Christi – The Utah beach volleyball program had a tough start in Corpus Christi against Texas A&M-Kingsville and the host school Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

The Utes dropped both matches 5-0 on the day.

In the first match against Kingsville, Marissa Koch and Sage Patchell kept the first set tight only losing 21-19 before falling in the second set 21-12. The other pairs for Utah battled, but ultimately dropped their fifth.

In the second match of the day, it was the second pair that battled in the first set. Camille Lee and Keana Smalls dropped the first set 21-17 before falling in the second 21-12.

Utah has two more matches tomorrow against Stephen F. Austin at 7 a.m. MT and Houston Baptist at 1:30 MT.
