SALT LAKE CITY – Jason Greco has been hired as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance for Utah Athletics, it was announced today by Director of Athletics
Mark Harlan. Greco comes to Utah from Auburn University, where he spent the past four years, most recently as Associate A.D. for Compliance.

Greco brings 12 years of experience in NCAA compliance to his position at Utah, serving at four institutions.

Greco joined the Auburn compliance staff in 2018 as Asst. A.D. for Compliance and was promoted to Associate A.D. in 2021. In his role with the Tigers, Greco was responsible for day-to-day management of the Auburn compliance office, leading a team of five full-time staff members. His responsibilities also included being the primary contact for all compliance-related matters of the Auburn football program and serving as sport supervisor for the swimming and diving programs. Greco also was a member of the steering committee for Auburn's Name, Image and Likeness endeavors and for the department's five-year strategic plan.

Over the course of his four years at Auburn, Greco also served as the compliance liaison for softball and equestrian, and developed all compliance policies and procedures for Auburn Athletics.

Prior to his four years at Auburn, Greco spent five years (2013-18) as Director of Compliance at North Carolina State after two years (2011-12) as Compliance Coordinator at Siena College. He began his career as a graduate assistant at the University at Albany.

A native of Amsterdam, N.Y., Greco earned a bachelor of science degree in sport management from Ithaca College, and a master of science in education administration and policy studies from Albany.
