Available for just $25, the hat pays tribute to the USS Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY – Back by popular demand, Utah fans will have another opportunity to purchase a baseball season ticket hat on Thursday, Feb. 24 during a Military Appreciation basketball doubleheader at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Utah women's basketball begins the night with a 5:30 p.m. game vs. Oregon State, followed up by the Runnin' Utes taking on Arizona in a 9 p.m. men's hoops tip off.
Designed to honor the USS Salt Lake City ship and crew, hats will be available in a variety of sizes as well as snapback form, and will be on sale for just $25. Fans can purchase their season ticket hats on the concourse of the Jon M. Huntsman Center between portal No. 24 and portal No. 1. Hats will be available for purchase during the entirety of both the women's and men's basketball games, or while supplies last.
A season ticket hat guarantees admission to the entirety of Utah baseball's 2022 home slate, as the Utes return to Smith's Ballpark. The hat features a camouflage design with a battle star on the rear, honoring the World War II-era heavy cruiser that earned 11 battle stars while commissioned from 1929-46.
