ATLANTA – The University of Utah Lacrosse program picked up three of the five major awards from the ASUN Conference today with
Tyler Bradbury being named ASUN Player of the Year,
Samuel Cambere earning Defensive Player of the Year and
Andrew McMinn being selected as Coach of the Year.
In its first year in the ASUN, Utah won the regular season title and the overall No. 1 seed in the ASUN Championships, finishing the regular season 5-0 in conference games and 9-3 overall with the nine wins being a program record. The Utes currently lead the league in eight different statistical categories, including scoring offense and scoring margin.
In addition to Utah's main awards, the program landed seven players on the ASUN All-Conference teams with Cambere and Bradbury leading the way on the first-team.

Colby Plotts being recognized on the All-Freshman team.
Utah's six players on the first and second teams is the most by any program in the ASUN this season.

Tyler Bradbury // ASUN Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference
- ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year, First-Team All-Academic.
- Preseason All-ASUN and current Tewaaraton Watch list selection.
- Has played in 27 career games with 24 starts, including in 23 straight games.
- Three-time ASUN Offensive Player of the Week selection in 2022, also earning USILA DI Team of the Week twice.
- Has recorded a team-high 52 points this season (24 goals, 28 assists), along with 13 ground balls and four CTOs.
- Holds the school record for career assists (53), also ranking second in points (91).
- Ranks 15th nationally (out of 196) and first in the ASUN in assists per game (2.33) while also sitting at No. 2 in the league in points per game (4.33).
- Also ranks second in the league in total points in ASUN games (28).
- Scored a career-high five goals against Detroit Mercy, adding two assists for seven points.
- Scored four goals against Jacksonville this season along with a career-best four ground balls against Robert Morris.
- Has scored two-or-more goals in eight of Utah's 12 games this season.
Samuel Cambere // ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference
- ASUN All-Academic team.
- Preseason All-ASUN and current Tewaaraton Watch List selection.
- Has played in 44 career games with 26 starts at Utah.
- Three-time ASUN Defensive Player of the Week selection in 2022, also earning USILA DI Team of the Week once.
- Has a team-high 22 caused turnovers along with 58 ground balls, two goals and eight assists this season.
- School record holder in career caused turnovers (66) and is second all-time in ground balls (190).
- Ranks 13th nationally (out of 199) in caused turnovers per game (1.83), also ranking third in the ASUN in ground balls per game (4.83).
- His 22 total caused turnovers this season broke his own school record for single-season CTOs (20 in 2019).
- Recorded a career-high nine ground balls against Robert Morris.
- Has had three-or-more ground balls in nine of Utah's 12 games this season, including averaging 6.3 in the first four games of the season.
Zion Dechesere // Second-Team All-Conference
- Has played in 22 career games at Utah with 16 starts, including 11 games and 10 starts this season.
- Ranks second all-time at Utah in career saves (193).
- Has recorded 103 saves on 104 goals against (.499), averaging 10.14 goals against per game along with 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers this season.
- Leads the ASUN in goals against average (10.14), also ranking 11th nationally overall.
- Ranks third in the ASUN in conference games in save percentage (.546).
- Had a season-high 14 saves in Utah's win at Air Force, only allowing eight goals in the game (.636) to earn ASUN Defensive Player of the Week.
- In Utah's win against Mercer, recorded seven saves and only two goals allowed (.778).
- Held opponents to under 10 goals in five of his last six games when in front of the net.
Cole Brams // Second-Team All-Conference
- Has played in 29 career games at Utah.
- Has a team-high 88 ground balls and 154 faceoff wins (164-297), also recording four goals, two assists and two CTOs this season.
- Holds the school record in career face-off wins (371), also setting school records in single-game faceoff wins (23) and ground balls (17) against Mercer this season.
- His 164 face offs wins and 88 ground balls in 2022 are single-season records for Utah.
- Ranks 21st nationally and second in the ASUN in faceoff win percentage this season (.552), also leading the league and ranking 17th nationally in ground balls per game (7.33).
Josh Rose // Second-Team All-Conference
- Has played in 29 career games at Utah.
- Has seen action in 12 games with five starts this season, recording 10 goals and 10 assists (20 points), also adding 37 ground balls and four CTOs.
- Recorded his first-career collegiate hat trick with a career-best three goals against Mercer.
- He also had a career-high six points against Mercer with a career-best three assists.
- Notched a career-high seven ground balls against Robert Morris.
Josh Stout // Second-Team All-Conference
- Has played in 33 career games with 32 starts as a Ute, including all 12 this season.
- He has 23 goals, 12 assists and 35 points this season.
- His 14 goals during ASUN play this season is third in the league.
- He ranks first in program history in career points (95) and goals (71), also ranking third all-time in career assists (24).
- He has recorded at least two goals in 19 career games, including in six this season.
- He scored a season-high six goals and seven points in Utah's win at Cleveland State.
- His career-high of seven goals against Mercer in 2019 is a school record.
Colby Plotts // All-Freshman Team
- Has played in all 12 games this season with one start, recording 16 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and two goals.
- Recorded a career-high two caused turnovers against Mercer this season.
- Had a career-high three ground balls against Cleveland State and Air Force.
- Scored his first collegiate goal in Utah's win at Vermont, also scoring against Jacksonville.
- Recorded two ground balls and one caused turnover in three straight games against Jacksonville, UMBC and Georgetown.
