SALT LAKE CITY—Utah Athletics will commence a Year-End Impact campaign on Giving Tuesday, November 28, with the goal of funding seven student-athlete scholarships by December 31.
Crimson Club members and all Ute supporters are invited to make a year-end gift to the Crimson Club Excellence Fund, which covers student-athlete scholarships. Year-end gifts will also be welcomed to one of our team excellence funds, directly impacting the student-athlete experience through academic support, sports medicine and mental health services.
Donations can be made on our campaign website (
www.UtahCrimsonClub.com/YearEndImpact). All philanthropic gifts to the Crimson Club are tax-deductible and matriculate toward 2023-24 membership benefits.
Contributions are also encouraged to one of the three collectives supporting name, image and likeness initiatives (NIL) for Utah student-athletes.
"We are incredibly grateful for the support our Crimson Club members and fans have provided over the past year," said Mark Harlan, Director of Athletics. "Your continued support is so integral to the success of our department, with many of the funds raised contributing to student-athlete scholarships. We are proud of our record-setting graduation rates, which rank among the highest in the Pac-12, and we recognize that the impact of a scholarship resonates well beyond the time our student-athletes spend with us at the University of Utah.
"There are a number of ways for our supporters to contribute financially, each of which plays a significant role in the success of our athletics programs. We invite our loyal supporters to consider making a year-end gift to the Crimson Club Excellence Fund, one of our team excellence funds, or to our NIL efforts. Contributions to any of these areas will help us to continue our tremendous success in the classroom, competition and our community."
Utah Athletics is coming off one of its most successful years in 2022-23 when it recorded its highest all-time finish in the LEARFIELD Director's Cup of 28th. Seven teams captured a conference regular-season or tournament championship and eight teams played in the NCAA Tournament or a bowl game.
Academically, Utah had its third-highest department-wide GPA of 3.355 for the 2022-23 year. Utah's 93 percent Graduation Success Rate ranks fourth-highest among Power 5 public institutions. Ute student-athletes took part in over 1,500 hours of community service.
Already in 2023-24, Utah football has qualified for its ninth bowl game in the last nine full seasons, cross country placed 13th at the NCAA Championships, and women's basketball earned a top five preseason national ranking.
With your support this December, you can help the Crimson Club and Utah Athletics build champions and impact generations.
