PARK CITY, Utah – The RMISA today announced schedule updates to the alpine races as part of the 2024 Utah Invitational and Westminster Invitational. Due to race logistics, events will now be held between January 17-20 at the Utah Olympic Park, a change from January 8-11.
Only the race dates have changed; the sequence of disciplines (two giant slalom, then two slalom) is unaffected. With this update, the alpine schedule for the two meets is now as follows:
- Wednesday, January 17 – Giant Slalom – part of Westminster Invitational
- Thursday, January 18 – Giant Slalom – part of Utah Invitational
- Friday, January 19 – Slalom – part of Westminster Invitational
- Saturday, January 20 – Slalom – part of Utah Invitational
Utah's five Nordic race days in January are unchanged. Those events will still take place on their originally scheduled dates at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, Utah. The Utes will race in Nordic action on January 2 and 4 as part of the Westminster Invitational, January 7 in an RMISA qualifier race, and on January 12-13 in the Utah Invitational.
