Utes’ Cross Country, Football, Soccer and Volleyball student-athletes honored by Pac-12

SAN FRANCISCO – Utah Athletics saw 73 student-athletes honored today with recognition from the Pac-12 Conference on the 2022 Fall Academic Honor Roll.

The Fall Academic Honor Roll includes Utah student-athletes who participated in the Conference-sponsored sports of football, cross country, soccer and volleyball. Utah's academic excellence in the fall parallels the programs' achievements in competition, with two programs reaching unprecedented heights: The football team again played in the Rose Bowl after winning its second consecutive Pac-12 championship, and the cross country team achieved its highest team finish at the NCAA Championship meet, placing 12th.

A total of 827 student-athletes from the 12 institutions that form the "Conference of Champions" were recognized for their work in the classroom. Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible for the distinction.

Utah's honorees include 16 from cross-country, 32 from football, 16 from soccer and nine from volleyball.
