SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Head Women's Basketball Coach
Lynne Roberts announced the addition of transfer Maty Wilke to the 2023-24 season.
Wilke a 5-10 guard, comes to the Utes from the University of Wisconsin where she was a redshirt in 2021-22 and in 2022-23 played and started in 29 games. The Beaver Dam, Wis., native, earned All-Big 10 Academic honors in 2022-23 and National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association All-American in 2021-22. Wilke 33.9 minutes per game, 11.8 points per game, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
She hit a career-high 17 points in four games and scored in double figures 18 times. She led the Badgers in three-point shooting making 61 from beyond the arc. Wilke shot 42.8 from the field, 34.9 percent from the three and 86.5 percent from the free throw line.

- As a senior, averaged 21.8 points, 8.6 assists, 6.1 rebounds and 4.4 steals per game before getting injured
- As a junior, averaged 16.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.6 steals per game
- Under coach Tim Chase, led the Golden Beavers to three Division 2 state tournaments, including two state championships
- 2020 All-State First Team unanimous honors
- Also played for the North Tartan EYBL AAU program led by coach Gerard Coury and Bill Larson.
- Played softball and participated in golf
- Member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Parents are Ally and Matt Wilke ... has two siblings -- Sam and Gabby ... father played basketball and baseball at North Dakota and was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1990, playing two years of Class A minor league baseball ...mother competed in track at UND ... Sam played basketball at UW-Parkside from 2018-20.
