AUSTIN, Texas – University of Utah Lacrosse standout
Tyler Bradbury has been named a first-team Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators it was announced today, becoming Utah Lacrosse's first Academic All-American in program history.
Bradbury is one of two student-athletes representing the sport of lacrosse on the first-team list and is one of two lacrosse stars from the ASUN between the first, second and third teams. A total of 47 individuals were recognized with the 11 members of the first team showing a 3.98 cumulative GPA.
He earned CSC Academic All-District this season, earning him the chance to become an All-American after being named the ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season.
The Oak Park, Calif., native is also a two-time ASUN All-Academic team honoree and has also been named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll twice. He has landed on the Dean's List and AD Honor Roll seven times in his career at Utah and is recently graduated with a degree in finance.
Bradbury is a two-time All-ASUN first-team selection and 2022 ASUN Offensive Player of the Year on the field, playing in 46 career games with 43 starts. Heading into his senior season, Bradbury holds the school records in single-season points (62, 2022) and assists (33, 2022), and career points (157) and assists (81).
