It is now the third-straight year the Women of Utah have been ranked in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll the whole season and has now been ranked in the top-25 in 30-consecutive polls dating back to the 2021 season (includes preseason rankings).
THE LINE UP
The Women of Utah will send the same group of runners from the regionals to the NCAA Championships with
Marika Couture,
Grace Moroney and
Lindsey Peters all making their first trip to nationals.
Morgan Jensen leads the way with three-consecutive NCAA Championship appearances while
McKaylie Caesar (2023),
Emily Chaston (2021),
Katarzyna Nowakowska (2023),
Anna Peters (2023) and
Erin Vringer (2022) all making their second-career appearance.
UTAH AT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
As a program, this will serve as the fourth-consecutive time that Utah has qualified as a team for the NCAA Championships and seventh time overall (2015, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) – all of which have come under the direction of 20th-year head coach
Kyle Kepler.
The 2022 squad recorded the best finish as a program, finishing in 12th-place while the 2023 team was just shy at 13th. The 2019 squad owns the third-best finish at 16th. Utah's 2016 and 2021 groups both finished in 20th-place while the inaugural squad to earn an NCAA Championships berth finished in 26th-place back in 2015.
