SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah Men's Lacrosse standout and team captain
Tyler Bradbury has been named to the 2024 Tewaaraton Award Watch List, announced today.
The award, which was established in 2000, honors the most outstanding male and female collegiate players each year while also recognizing the Native American heritage of the sport of lacrosse. Bradbury is one of 50 student-athletes from across NCAA Division I lacrosse and the only player from the ASUN on the men's watch list.
Bradbury is a two-time All-ASUN first-team selection and was the 2022 ASUN Offensive Player of the Year. He has 47 career games with 44 starts at Utah, holding the school record for single-season points (62, 2022) and assists (33, 2022) and career points (158) and assists (81).
The Oak Park, Calif., native has scored at least a point in 34 straight games and has scored a point in 41 of his 47 career outings as a Ute. He has 27 career games with multiple assists and 24 with two-or-more goals.
He posted a career-high five goals against Detroit Mercy in 2022, also recording a career-best six assists against Westminster that resulted in a career-high eight points in 2021. This past weekend, Bradbury racked up a career-high seven ground balls in Utah's season opener against Ohio State, also scoring his first goal of the season and the 77
th of his career.
