Â
The Montreal, Canada, native competed in three events during the 2024 indoor season and qualified for the 1500m back in early February when she ran at the 116th edition of the Millrose Games in New York at The Armory on Feb. 11).
Â
Plourde, who signed with Union Athletics after the outdoor season last year, finished seventh in the Wanamaker Mile with a personal best mark of 4:24.67 and earned her spot at the world championships with a 1500m time of 4:06.98 en route during that race. Her mark of 4:06.98 was also the third-fastest 1500m ever by a Canadian.
