AZUSA, Calif. – The Utah track & field team had another strong day out on the track and set several new PRs in the 1500m races at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday inside Cougar Athletic Stadium.

Caroline Fischer got the evening started for Utah, running in rainy conditions before crossing the finish line with a time of 4:44.46.

Utah's trio in the 1500m invite section all secured new PR marks – including an addition to the record book as well.
Erin Vringer went out and took second in her heat with a run of 4:16.28 to improve her mark of fourth all-time at Utah.
Bri Rinn continued to improve each race this season and posted a time of 4:20.56 to win her heat and move into eighth all-time at Utah. Freshman
Kyla Martin rounded out the invite section with a new personal best mark of 4:21.09 as well.

Grace Moroney closed out the weekend for Utah, posting a run of 4:31.55 in her section of the 1500m race.

The distance crew will get next week off as the sprints and hurdles team heads down to Southern California for the 64th running of the Mt. SAC Relays in Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
